Cindy received her B.A. in Business (2001), with a concentration in International Business, and M.S. in Accounting (2002), from Rhodes College, and has been a practicing Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for over 18 years.

Jonathan McGhee ‘03

Physician/Owner of EssentialMD

Jonathan earned his B.S. in Biochemistry from Rhodes and his M.D. from Meharry Medical College (2007). He completed his Family Medicine Residency (2010) and Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship (2011) at the Univ. of Oklahoma at Tulsa, and went on to become a Board Certified Family Physician (2012).

At Rhodes, Otisha majored in English Literature, with a minor in African-American Studies. She holds a M.A. in Mass Communication & Media Studies from Louisiana State University, and Master of Education from Relay Graduate School of Education. She is also a licensed Interior Designer, credentialed through New York Institute of Art & Design.

Computer Science major, Anthony Fizer, is the co-founder and CTO of PositivePhysics.org, a virtual platform offering physics problems and curriculum for learners at any level.

Teralyn Green Hobbs ’10

A Business & Economics major and French minor at Rhodes, Teralyn went on to obtain a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (2021).

A political science major at Rhodes, Terri went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law (2008). She has enjoyed an illustrious career in government relations, public affairs and the legal profession, and currently serves as general counsel for the Jones Group, LLC, a Montgomery, Alabama based government affairs firm.

Michael Thompson, CPA, CFF ‘00, ‘01

Michael completed his B.A. in Business and M.S. in Accountancy at Rhodes College. Not only is he a Certified Public Accountant, but he is also Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). From Rhodes, he was recruited by KPMG, one of the ‘Big Four’ accounting organizations, and worked there for over a decade.

Latoya majored in Biology at Rhodes, received a Master of Public Health from UNC-Chapel Hill (2009) and will soon complete Master of Science in Nursing, Marquette University (December 2020). Latoya is public health professional, doula, lactation consultant, maternal and child health specialist, soon-to-be nurse and a fierce women's health advocate!
