Project Pericles is a consortium of colleges and universities that promotes civic engagement within higher education, and in December, Rhodes faculty were awarded grants from the organization to promote course development.
Rhodes College’s 2024 alumni awards were presented during Homecoming/Reunion Weekend Nov. 1-2. They are MaryKay Loss Carlson ’81, Kimberly Macharia ’18, and Darrell Cobbins ’97.
Dr. Earl Wright II, the Neville Frierson Bryan Chair of Sociology at Rhodes College, has authored a new book, along with Dr. Kalasia S. Ojeh of Kean University, titled <em>An Introduction to W. E. B. Du Bois </em>(Routledge, 2024).
