If you’re an aspiring artist, musician, composer or actor, or have an interest in technical theatre, you may qualify for one of Rhodes′ Fine and Performing Arts Scholarships.
The Fine and Performing Arts Scholarships are available to students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in art, music or theatre.
Financial awards in the Fine and Performing Arts are available to incoming students in variable amounts, as scholarships in art, music and theatre. The determination of the award is dependent upon acceptance to the college and a juried score based upon an audition (Departments of Music and Theatre) or fine arts portfolio (Departments of Art, Music and Theatre). All awards recognize superior potential in the fine arts and are designed to encourage this development through pursuit of a major or minor in the appropriate discipline.
Scholarships may be awarded in the following areas:
- Music Performance
- Music Composition
- Music Theory or Music History
- Theatre Performance
- Design or Technical Theatre
- Theatre History and Theory
