Hospitality Information:

Memphis offers a wide variety of religious and spiritual communities to explore. The Chaplain of Rhodes College, Chaplain Beatrix, serves as Parish Associate Pastor at Evergreen Presbyterian Church, and is happy to make recommendations about religious communities if you tell her what you're looking for! Locations particularly hospitable to prayer and meditation on campus at Rhodes include the Muslim Prayer Room in the lower level of the Library, the meditation area of the Interfaith Lounge on the fourth floor of Burrow Hall, the chapels in Bellingrath Hall and Voorhies Hall, and the outdoor labyrinth located inside the gate at University and N. Parkway. All indoor locations have Muslim prayer mats. For more information about meaning-making and spirituality on campus and in Memphis, contact Chaplain Beatrix at chaplain@rhodes.edu
