When we say the phrase “liberal arts,” we hope that you think of the academic opportunities we offer over a wide range of disciplines from fine arts to math and many things in-between. Harlon Hutton exemplifies that spirit exceptionally well. As a business and math double major, you might expect her to be all numbers and graphs. But her achievement doing research for the Mike Curb Institute of Music has been exhilarating. She combines the skills she’s learned in her majors with the passion for music she’s been bestowed with growing up in Memphis.
