Campus Support Services

Students with disabilities are encouraged to take advantage of the following resources available to all Rhodes students.

  • ADHD Coachingfree weekly group sessions, or private one-on-one sessions for an additional fee with a trained professional. Click here to learn more about private coaching. Contact Ben Boeving, ADHD Coach, at, to schedule a free consultation. 
  • Laser Coaching—free group session focused on planning and prioritizing your week. Walk away with an action plan to maximize your weekly efficiency and productivity. Mondays at 3:00pm in Armstrong Room, Burrow Hall.  Led by Ben Boeving, ADHD Coach. Open to all Rhodes students. ADHD diagnosis not required.
  • Academic & Learning Resources—individual assistance, workshops, resources, and peer coaching focused on time management, organizational skills, and learning. Students may access a variety of academic support resources and tools by logging into Express Rhodes and clicking the Academic Support box under Quick links or by calling 901-843-3885.
  • Mathematics and Computer Science Support Centertutoring and workshop support for those enrolled in introductory mathematics and computer science courses.
  • Writing Center—assistance with written assignments and skill development.
  • Peer Tutors—available for many introductory courses on a walk-in basis, free of charge.
  • Study Abroad—individual advising related to researching study abroad programs, applying for programs, and identifying need-based or merit-based scholarships.  
  • Career Services—individual career counseling and assistance with self-assessment, career exploration, and career decision-making.
  • Counseling Services—short-term, confidential counseling by a trained professional, free of charge. 
  • After Hours Crisis Hotline—emergency counseling services outside of regular office hours, offered 24/7 at 901-843-3128.
  • Lynx Cart Service—complimentary intra-campus transportation. Contact Campus Safety at 901-843-3880.
  • Campus Map with Accessibility Guide—this version of the campus map identifies all accessible building entrances, restroom locations, ramps, and parking spaces.
