If you require housing for the semester of your return to Rhodes, it is your responsibility to communicate regularly with members of the Residence Life staff. Please read the following carefully:
Students Studying Off-Campus DURING the SPRING Semester:
If you plan to live on campus the following fall, you must complete your online housing registration via Residence Life’s on-line system. Students who are studying abroad in the Spring will receive an email from Residence Life when it’s time to complete housing registration for the following fall. If you will not have access to email while abroad, please communicate with Residence Life PRIOR to your departure so they can help you before you go. In the online registration system, most students will be brought into a housing group; you will just have to confirm the group. If you want a single, you will need to enter your request for a single during the appropriate window. The Housing Registration process will be explained in the message you receive while you’re abroad in the Spring semester.
Students Studying Off-Campus DURING the FALL Semester:
If you plan to live on campus the following spring semester, you must put your name on the waiting list in the Residence Life Office. You are encouraged to contact Residence Life late in the fall semester to offer additional input with preferences. Every effort will be made to accommodate your housing requests, but there is no guarantee of housing or of meeting requests.
If a student registers for housing, and then decides to participate in an off-campus study program during fall semester, the registration will be deferred to the spring semester, and no cancellation fee will be incurred.
