Rain Plan
The May 11 ceremony will be held in Fisher Garden if at all possible. Candidates for graduation, their parents, family and friends should take precautions if the campus has experienced recent rain conditions by wearing appropriate footwear.
If inclement weather conditions absolutely prevent an outdoor ceremony, a decision to hold the event in the Bryan Campus Life Center will be made by 7:30 a.m. on May 11. If you have questions about the location, check the Rhodes home page or call one of the numbers below.
In case of rain, members of the Class of 2013 should line up on the first floor of the Bryan Campus Life Center. There will be no recessional after the graduation ceremony. If the weather permits, the reception for graduates and their guests will take place in the Rollow Avenue of Oaks. Otherwise, refer to the locations listed in the commencement program for the sites of the indoor receptions.
Only those with seating tickets will be admitted to the rain site in the Bryan Campus Life Center.
Those without tickets may view the ceremony in the Lynx Lair, The McCallum Ballroom, Burrow Hall and the Blount Auditorium of Buckman Hall.
Caps, gowns and hoods should be returned to Hardie Auditorium in Palmer Hall on Saturday until 2pm or after that to the Campus Safety Office.
