Rhodes Wins Women’s Basketball Championship

Rhodes defeated Millsaps 66-64 to win the first Southern Athletic Association Women′s Basketball Championship this weekend.

Junior Guard Lauren Avant was named the tournament MVP and sophomore guard Sarah Johnson was named to the All-Tournament team. The Lynx finish the regular season at 24-3.
