Publication Date: 10/11/2012
In the latest Golfstat rankings, the Rhodes Women′s Golf Team is ranked #7 in the nation (out of 144 teams) in stroke average. Meg Healy ’16 is ranked #12 in the nation (out of approximately 800 players) in stroke average.
The Lynx are ranked #15 in the Golfstat Relative Ranking category. The Rhodes first-year class, consisting of Meg Healy, Pearlissa Harris, Clarice Cannon and Megan Richards, is ranked #1 in the nation.
“We’ve really had a fun fall,” says Rhodes head coach Mike Clary. “There′s no question our freshmen class has added a lot of talent to our team. But our returning players, Allie Bankart, Mary Reed and Jessica Ritter, have played great golf this fall and their leadership has been outstanding."
The Lynx will host the Rhodes Classic at The Links at Cottonwoods in Tunica, Miss., this Sunday/Monday to close out the fall season.
