Rhodes Alumna Among MBJ′s Super Women in Business

Tammie Ritchey, vice president of development at The Regional Medical Center at Memphis (The MED) and executive director of The MED Foundation, is one of 25 named to Memphis Business Journal’s list of “Super Women in Business.”
Ritchey graduated from Rhodes in 1993 with a B.A. in English. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive, member of the Board of Directors for the Memphis Downtown Rotary Club, member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the former President for Women of Achievement.
Honorees were selected by the MBJ editorial staff from more than 110 nominations, and their career accomplishments as well as personal achievements and community involvement will be featured in a special section of the publication on Aug. 17.
On Aug. 21, they also will be honored at a luncheon at Holiday Inn-University of Memphis.
Two parents of Rhodes students also among the honorees—Carolyn Hardy, president and CEO of Chism-Hardy Enterprises LLC, and Carol Roberts, senior vice president and chief financial officer for International Paper Company.
