Rhodes Student Shares Story of Surviving Cancer, Working at St. Jude as Student Researcher

Maggie Cupit ’13 was supposed to start a job as a student researcher at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as part of the Rhodes St. Jude Summer Plus fellowship program. Instead, she ended up being a patient in the hospital.
Cupit shares her remarkable story of overcoming cancer in USA TODAY’s College Blog and how she now gives backs to St. Jude not only through her research role, but also through music and public appearances.
