February Deadline Approaching for Rhodes Institute Fellows
Publication Date: 2/2/2011
The Rhodes Institute for Regional Studies, founded in 2003, offers Rhodes students a unique opportunity to engage in research in Memphis and the Mid-South region. The application deadline for this year’s program is Feb. 15. See guidelines.
Over the course of the program, fellows spend their first week together engaged in an intensive regional studies seminar; six weeks working on their own projects, interspersed with weekly group meetings; and a final week presenting and discussing their research. By the end of the program, all fellows submit research papers and reports on their work.
All Rhodes Institute fellows receive housing, research expenses, and $3,000 stipends while they pursue their academic work.
For more information, contact the institute’s director Dr. Milton Moreland at 901-843-3379 or morelandm@rhodes.edu.
