Rhodes Alumna Vies for Miss America Crown

Rhodes alumna Brooke Poklemba ′08 will compete in the upcoming Miss America pageant to air January 30, 8 p.m. (EST) on TLC. Poklemba, who is from Westminster, MD, was crowned Miss Maryland in June.
Poklemba was a psychology major at Rhodes, and her platform for the contest is "Autism and the Importance of Early Intervention."
