Information for Students
The Department of Music at Rhodes College offers plenty of opportunities for liberal arts students to continue their musical passion whether they plan to major in music, biochemistry or any other field of interest. We have a variety of ensembles that are open to any enrolled student, regardless of major. Ensembles rehearse weekly and perform several times throughout the year, both on and off campus. Students at Rhodes can increase their level of musicianship by taking private lessons. Lessons are available to any enrolled student in every voice type, orchestral instrument and jazz instrument. To help us better serve you, please take a moment to fill out the online questionnaire and music knowledge survey here. For more information on what is available, please attend the Department of Music Meeting where you will be able to meet faculty and learn how best we can foster your musical interest. The meeting will take place at 1:00 p.m. on , in Room 100 of Hassell Hall. (NOTE: The date for the Fall 2013 Music Information Meeting will be posted at a later time.)
