We will return to the more complete listings with the next issue, to include alumni books recently given to the College and the fine work of our Rhodes Chapters in hosting student recruitment functions.
Before getting into some of the special features of this Homecoming, I want these essential messages to be heard:
1. Come to Homecoming! Your classmates are missing you, and those of us on the faculty and staff miss you as well. For a complete listing of Homecoming programs, please check the schedule.
2. Register for Homecoming! Please let us know of your intent to attend Homecoming/Reunion weekend by registering your attendance. Click on the “Display Who is Coming List,” where you may sort the list by class year. Remember that all who register and those who check in at Homecoming will receive two entries in the drawing for cool prizes.
That said, I want to share with you some of the special features and events of this year’s Homecoming/Reunion Weekend.

Closing and Reflection
Today my topic for closing addresses the meaning Homecoming holds for me. At this point, I am quick to point out that Homecoming is about you—it is not about me. Even with that, it is a special time of the year for me and for those of us who serve on the College staff.
