Brooks Royer Named to NCAA III Management Council

Brooks Royer, a senior baseball player and business major at Rhodes, has joined the NCAA Division III Management Council.
The 19-member committee includes Division III chief executive officers, faculty athletics representatives, athletic directors, conference representatives and student-athletes and is one of the committees responsible for legislation and governance. The Management Council meets on a quarterly basis.
Royer, who is from Houston, Texas, will be a voting member. He also was one of 21 student-athletes from around the country to serve on the 2008-2009 National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for Division III.
