Rhodes’ Financial Aid Director Receives Distinguished Service Award

Forrest Stuart, Director of Financial Aid at Rhodes, recently received the Distinguished Service Award at the spring conference of the Tennessee Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (TASFAA) held in Memphis. This award recognizes exceptional contributions to the profession of financial aid.
Stuart served as the 2005-2006 president of the organization which is dedicated to the training and professional development of financial aid administrators at institutions of higher learning in the State of Tennessee.
He currently is chair of TASFAA’s Association Governance Committee, which is charged with recommending policies concerning budget issues, providing counsel to the TASFAA President on the budget, overseeing the annual audit, drafting resolutions and changes to the bylaws as directed by the Executive Board and presenting those resolutions to the membership.
This year, TASFAA is celebrating its 40th anniversary as an organization.
