Transfer Application Checklist

How to Apply — If you previously applied to Rhodes as a first-year applicant:

  • Submit the Transfer Reapply Form. Upon submission, you will receive an email with additional instructions.
  • Submit official or unofficial final transcripts from your secondary school. (Official transcripts must be submitted upon enrollment.)
  • Submit official or unofficial transcripts from all post-secondary schools you have attended (Official transcripts must be submitted upon enrollment.)
  • Give the College Official′s Report to the appropriate dean or college official to complete. 
  • You must submit the Mid-Term Report from your professors if you are currently enrolled in courses.
  • Submit a short-response explanation of why you wish to transfer to Rhodes. You may upload this to your Rhodes portal or email it to Assistant Director of Admission Alex Mise.
  • Your test scores and teacher recommendations from your original application will be rolled over to your transfer application. If you wish to have a professor share an optional letter of recommendation, they may email it to Alex Mise.
  • Submit the FAFSA (Rhodes Title IV code: 003519) if you are applying for need-based financial aid. 

How to Apply — If you have not previously applied to Rhodes as a first-year student: 

  • Complete the Transfer Common Application
  • Submit official or unofficial final transcripts from your secondary school. (Official transcripts must be submitted upon enrollment.)
  • Submit official or unofficial transcripts from all post-secondary schools you have attended (Official transcripts must be submitted upon enrollment.)
  • Optional: Submit SAT or ACT scores to Rhodes (We also consider self-reported test scores via your application or your Rhodes portal.) 
  • Give the College Official′s Report to the appropriate dean or college official to complete 
  • Give the College Instructor Evaluation to one of your college professors to complete 
  • You must submit the Mid-Term Report from your professors if you are currently enrolled in courses
  • Submit the FAFSA (Rhodes Title IV code: 003519) if you are applying for need-based financial aid
